Compassionate Mindfulness

Mindfulness allows us to ‘be present.’

Mindfulness is a powerful practice that promotes self-realization, self-knowledge, transformation, presence, heart, and gratitude. There are now endless studies that link mindfulness and meditation to stress-reduction, happiness, health, and compassion.

Compassionate, nonjudgmental presence is at the heart of what I offer. My intention is to create a shame-free space for the truth to appear. We need to see what’s not working and to move toward what will benefit your well-being.

With compassionate mindfulness, we can be curious about what is presently happening in your life without the stigma of shame (this is highly beneficial to the therapy process).

Our main inquiries will always be: what are you learning from this experience and what wisdom are you gaining?

Growing self-awareness for well-being

Awareness of thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and relationship dynamics reveals where we are unsafe, stuck, or injured. It allows us to track transformation and know when healing has happened.

Furthermore, through mindfulness-based therapy, you will not only learn how to lower anxiety, anger, and stress, you will learn how to tap into your own creative well.

Along the way, you may be delighted to discover how powerful you are and how quickly you can shift an experience.

Move toward learning how to live mindfully

Compassionate witnessing of ourselves and others is ultimately what heals wounding, empowers awakened choice, and brings us into the present moment. In our work together, we will skillfully utilize mindfulness and work to heighten your self-awareness, so you can make moment-by-moment choices that are healing, empowered and aligned with your soul’s purpose.

I welcome serious meditation, yoga, and contemplative practitioners, as well as those who have little-to-no experience practicing focused attention formally.

If compassionate mindfulness appeals to you, I’ve been waiting for you.
